Quality Collision Group Promotes Mike Christman to Vice President of Operations

Longtime Schaefer Autobody leader, Mike Christman, expands into a role overseeing 15 Schaefer Autobody, Eveland Bros. Collision Repair Center, and First Class Auto locations across Missouri, Illinois, Kansas, and Florida.

McKinney, Texas - Quality Collision Group is proud to announce the promotion of Mike Christman to Vice President of Operations, where he will oversee 15 Schaefer Autobody, Eveland Bros. Collision Repair Center, and First Class Auto locations across Missouri, Illinois, Kansas, and Florida.

Christman’s promotion reflects a career defined by leadership, growth, and a deep knowledge of the collision repair industry. After graduating from Ranken Technical College, he joined Schaefer Autobody in 1998 as a paint prepper at the Webster Groves location, the company’s first shop.

Over the years, Christman advanced through technical, front-office, and leadership roles, building experience across nearly every part of the business. His first management role came when he helped open Schaefer’s O’Fallon location as General Manager. As his career advanced, Mike served as Regional Manager, overseeing the Schaefer locations while supporting team development, operational performance, and the continued growth of the brand.

Since Schaefer Autobody joined the Quality Collision Group family, Christman has remained a steady and trusted leader, helping guide the team through transition while continuing to strengthen Schaefer’s reputation for quality and consistency. His promotion to Vice President of Operations reflects the impact of his leadership and his ability to motivate teams, develop people, and drive operational excellence.

“Mike’s journey is exactly the kind of story that represents the best of this industry,” said Jerod Guerin, CEO of Quality Collision Group. “He has earned the respect of his teams by understanding every part of the business, leading with consistency, and genuinely investing in people. Mike has played an important role in the continued strength of Schaefer, and we are excited to see him step into this expanded leadership position.”

In his new role, Christman will continue leading the performance and development of the Schaefer and Eveland teams while helping drive operational excellence across the region.

“I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunities I’ve had throughout my career with Schaefer and Quality Collision Group,” said Christman. “This industry has given me so much, and I’ve always believed in the value of hard work, strong teams, and helping people grow. I’m proud of what we’ve built, and I’m excited to continue supporting our teams and serving our customers at an even greater level.”
