Veteran collision industry leader Mario Sano will assume executive oversight of QCG’s Eastern Division

‍

McKinney, Texas — Quality Collision Group (QCG), a national operator of collision repair facilities, announced the promotion of Mario Sano to Executive Vice President of Operations – East. In this expanded role, Sano will lead QCG’s Eastern Division across nine states.

Sano previously served as Vice President of Operations for Brandywine Coach Works, Bruce’s Super Body Shop, Dorn’s Body & Paint, Triangle Collision and Relentless Collision. His new portfolio adds Schaefer Autobody Centers, 1st Class Auto, Eveland Bros. Collision and LaMettry’s Collision & Glass.

The promotion brings QCG’s eastern portfolio under one executive leader, and will drive operational alignment while protecting the heritage and strengths of each individual brand.

“Mario has spent his career proving that operational discipline and people-focused leadership strengthen one another,” said Paul Williams, Chief Operating Officer of Quality Collision Group. “He understands what it takes to build trust, establish high standards, and turn a shared vision into consistent execution. He also knows how to align established brands without losing what makes them successful. Mario has earned tremendous credibility across this organization, and he will help to continue guiding our Eastern Division forward.”

Before joining QCG, Mario co-owned Brandywine Coach Works and served as a key member of the leadership team that guided the company through its sale to QCG in 2020. After the acquisition, Sano chose to stay on and help lead the company into its next chapter.

He initially continued leading operations for Brandywine Coach Works. His responsibilities later expanded to include several QCG brands across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, North Carolina, and Virginia. Throughout that growth, he became known for his command of OEM standards, operational rigor, and ability to unite teams around common goals.

Sano’s leadership philosophy is rooted in what the organization calls “The Brandywine Standard.” It represents an uncompromising commitment to craftsmanship, accountability, and repairing vehicles according to manufacturer procedures. It also reflects the belief that exceptional performance begins with strong teams and trusted relationships.

“My career has taught me that high standards only matter when teams understand them, believe in them, and have the support to deliver on them,” said Sano, Executive Vice President of Operations – East. “That principle has always been at the heart of our standards, and it will continue to guide me in this role. We have exceptional brands and talented leaders throughout the Eastern Division. My responsibility is to connect those strengths, remove barriers, and help our teams perform at their highest level. We will grow by learning from one another while remaining true to the people, craftsmanship and customer relationships behind each brand.”

As Executive Vice President of Operations – East, Sano will establish a unified operating strategy across the division. He will identify and scale proven business practices, strengthen accountability, and support leadership development. The role will require close collaboration with Williams and QCG’s executive leadership team. Together, they will focus on building the structure and operating discipline required to support sustainable growth.

Mario's promotion reflects QCG’s commitment to advancing leaders who combine deep industry knowledge with a record of execution. It also recognizes the value of former owners who remain invested in the long-term success of their brands, their teammates, and the broader organization.
