Quality Collision Group Appoints Paul Williams as Chief Operating Officer

Experienced collision industry executive brings a people-first leadership philosophy and a commitment to strengthening culture, operational excellence and OEM-certified repairs across QCG.

McKinney, Texas – Quality Collision Group (QCG), a leading operator of OEM-certified collision repair centers, announced that Paul Williams has joined the company as Chief Operating Officer. Williams will serve on QCG’s executive leadership team and oversee operations across its growing portfolio of collision repair brands.

Williams brings decades of experience across the automotive and collision repair industries, having served as a frontline employee, business owner, regional operations leader and chief executive in past roles and companies. His leadership philosophy centers on investing in people, strengthening team culture and creating an environment where employees are supported in delivering exceptional repairs and customer experiences.

“Paul brings a valuable combination of operational expertise, entrepreneurial experience and people-first leadership,” said Jerod Guerin, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Quality Collision Group. “He understands that long-term success begins with investing in our teams and giving them the resources and support they need to perform at their best. We are excited to welcome him to QCG and our executive leadership team.”

Williams began his career at age 19 as a service advisor at a Mercedes-Benz dealership. His early success took him to Las Vegas, where he helped open a new dealership and quickly advanced to finance manager. While there, he met his future wife and was introduced to the collision repair industry through her father's business. Williams later joined the family-owned shop as a partner, helping grow the company from one location to five in just four years before its sale to a national collision repair organization in 2019.

Williams continued his career in operations, serving as Regional Vice President of Operations across the Pacific Northwest and later the Central United States. He later served as Chief Executive Officer of Brightpoint Auto Body, where he developed a people-first, OEM-focused business model centered on culture, repair quality and sustainable growth.

“I have experienced this industry from many different perspectives, and each one has reinforced that people are the foundation of a successful organization,” said Williams. “Nobody will ever work for me, but I will work together across the company. My role is to listen, remove barriers and ensure our teams have the support they need to succeed. Together, we will continue strengthening our culture, repairing vehicles the right way and building a greater future for our employees, customers and partners.”

As Chief Operating Officer, Williams will focus on strengthening QCG’s impact, developing leaders and supporting operational practices that prioritize safe, manufacturer-certified repairs. His career journey will allow him to build meaningful relationships with teams at every level and cultivate a strong vision of success throughout the organization.
