Quality Collision Group Appoints Nino Sgro as Executive Vice President of Operations - West

Experienced collision repair leader will strengthen operational alignment, support QCG’s growing culture and advance its commitment to uncompromising, manufacturer-certified repairs

McKinney, Texas — Quality Collision Group (QCG), the leading operator of OEM-certified collision repair centers, announced that Nino Sgro has joined the company as Executive Vice President of Operations – West. In this role, Sgro will lead operations across all of QCG’s western markets, bringing teams and locations together around a shared commitment to operational excellence, responsible growth, and repairs performed according to manufacturer standards.

Sgro’s appointment strengthens QCG’s leadership team as the company nears its fourth quarter. Working closely with shops, he will help further create alignment across the company while preserving the expertise, identity and culture that distinguish QCG’s individual brands.

“Nino understands that great operations begin with great people and an unwavering respect for the repair,” said Paul Williams, Chief Operating Officer of Quality Collision Group. “He brings the experience needed to unite teams across a growing organization without losing sight of the craftsmanship, accountability and customer care that built their reputations. As QCG continues to expand, Nino will help us continue to strengthen our operating platform and raise the standard for what a national collision repair organization can be.”

A Southern California native, Sgro discovered his passion for cars through the region’s hot rod and racing culture. Starting by sweeping floors at a local shop, he quickly learned welding and fabrication before entering collision repair at 21. His career later included working on studio vehicles for Warner Bros. and advancing through leadership roles at independent and national repair organizations, ultimately becoming Vice President of Operations – North Texas. These experiences shaped his lasting commitment to craftsmanship, precision, and safe high-quality repairs.

At QCG, Sgro will draw on his experience to develop leaders, strengthen collaboration, and support consistent performance throughout the western locations. He will also work to deepen relationships with insurance partners and demonstrate how OE certified  repair procedures can deliver meaningful value for their customers. The work Nino plans to accomplish will support the expansion of QCG’s direct repair program relationships while protecting the company’s foundational commitment to never compromise on repair quality or customer safety.

“QCG has been building something truly exceptional by bringing together some of the strongest teams and most respected repair brands in the industry,” said Sgro. “My goal is to help our western locations operate as one connected team, work in close partnership with the East and build on the culture already taking shape across the company. We can strengthen relationships with our insurance partners by showing that OE-focused repairs create value for everyone involved. We will continue to remain grounded in what matters most: supporting our people and our customers with quality repairs.”

Sgro’s appointment reflects QCG’s continued investment in experienced leadership and a scalable operating structure capable of supporting long-term growth. By aligning its teams around manufacturer-certified repair practices, strong partner relationships, and a unified culture, QCG is continuing to build a national legacy designed to set the collision repair industry’s standard for excellence.
