McKinney, Texas — Quality Collision Group (QCG), the largest OEM-centric collision repair organization in the U.S., with a footprint spanning more than 100 locations across 13 states, announced the appointment of James D’Onofrio as Chief Strategy Officer.
In his new role, D’Onofrio will lead QCG’s corporate strategy, including organic growth initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, and new site development, with a mandate to ensure future expansion is disciplined, aligned with the company’s operating model, and positioned to support long-term performance.
D’Onofrio has played an instrumental role in advancing the company’s growth, leading six successful acquisitions since joining QCG in 2024. He has also strengthened internal reporting, supported greenfield development, and refined the company’s organic value creation strategy. His promotion reflects the impact he has made across the organization and his expanded role in shaping QCG’s next phase of growth.
“James has consistently pushed our organization to think bigger, move with discipline, and stay focused on the long-term vision for Quality Collision Group,” said Jerod Guerin, CEO and Founder of Quality Collision Group. “Since joining QCG, he has brought a thoughtful and strategic approach to growth, while also understanding the importance of execution at the shop level. Appointing James as Chief Strategy Officer is a natural next step for QCG as we continue building the company.”
“Quality Collision Group has a significant opportunity to expand its footprint over the next five years while maintaining its industry-leading standards of repair quality. To achieve this goal, we need to drive accountability across our leadership and teammates, work closely with our external partners, and stay focused on serving our customers,” said D’Onofrio. “I am grateful for the trust Jerod and the leadership team have placed in me, and I am excited to help QCG advance its mission and guide the company’s next phase of growth.”
