James joined QCG in 2024 as Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions. He leads the full lifecycle of QCG’s acquisition strategy, from initial outreach to deal execution and integration, ensuring each new shop aligns with QCG’s operational model. He also plays a key role in identifying and executing new greenfield site developments.
With over a decade of finance and M&A experience, James combines strategic acumen with hands-on industry insight. Prior to QCG, James worked as a private equity investment professional, supporting initial investments and M&A growth across several portfolio companies, including All Star Auto Parts and Zips Car Wash. Since joining QCG, he has also led improvements to internal reporting and helped refine the company's M&A playbook.
Based in Seattle, James enjoys the outdoors year-round—hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter.
