James is the Chief Strategy Officer for Quality Collision Group, where he leads the company’s corporate strategy, including organic growth initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, and new site development, with a mandate to ensure future expansion is disciplined, aligned with the company’s operating model, and positioned to support long-term performance.
James joined QCG in 2024 as Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions, leading the full lifecycle of the company’s acquisition strategy, from initial outreach to deal execution and integration. He was later promoted to Executive Vice President of Strategy & Corporate Development, where he expanded his focus across operational alignment, corporate development, and QCG’s continued growth strategy. Throughout his time with the company, James has helped ensure each new shop aligns with QCG’s operational model while also playing a key role in identifying and executing new greenfield site developments. These experiences laid the foundation for his current role as Chief Strategy Officer, where he oversees the organization's strategic direction and helps drive long-term growth across QCG’s portfolio of brands.
With over a decade of finance and M&A experience, James combines strategic acumen with hands-on industry insight. Prior to QCG, James worked as a private equity investment professional, supporting initial investments and M&A growth across several portfolio companies, including All Star Auto Parts and Zips Car Wash.
Based in Seattle, James enjoys the outdoors year-round, hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter.
